Why are the prices on our website different from those in our store?

We staff our store with a variety of product specialists and knowledgeable staff, that strive for customer satisfaction. We're also able to provide a customer with any item from our inventory to "test-drive".

The cost of this customer service is an increased overhead for our in-store prices, to pay for the store space, employee training and other store considerations not present online.

We're happy to offer reduced prices online and hope that you will be 100% satisfied with your purchase.

We will never lend, sell, or give any customer's personal information to any third party! What you tell us here is solely for our own advertising use and demographic analysis.

 

     
   

Guarantees

   
New Products
  All new products carry the full manufacturer's warranty. This applies to both hard goods and expendables. All our hard goods are official US-market inventory; in both cases any manufacturers' warranties apply in full. We will never sell "gray market" goods as US inventory.
Used Products
  Consignment goods are sold as-is. All used equipment that we sell out of our own inventory carries a six month Mel Pierce Camera warranty.
Repairs
  All repairs carry a six month warranty, except for repairs of electronic items, which we warranty for 90 days. However, the warranty period begins the day we notify you that the repair is ready to pick up, not the day you pick it up.

Film is not returnable.

If a product is defective, Mel Pierce Camera and Digital and its vendors are liable only for replacement of product or refund of purchase price; we are not responsible for lost time or wages or any other damages resulting from the use of defective product.

If you are returning a product because you made the purchase in error, or changed your mind, or any other issue except for manufacturing defect, we will charge a 10% restocking fee. The item, its box, and its paperwork (warranty card et al) must be undamaged and complete.

Shipping damage is the responsibility of the shipping agency.
